Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Provide product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges using excellent phone etiquette
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Support inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail merchandising techniques
- Ability to perform product demos and technical sales when required
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and transaction processing
