Part-Time Casual Interior Design Associate

Interior Matters is looking for a formally trained Interior Designer to join our well established design firm in a part-time casual position.
For over 30 years, Interior Matters has been helping clients create homes they truly love. We're more than a retail store—we're a full-service interior design studio specializing in furniture, custom window coverings, wallpaper, home décor, and styling. Our team is passionate about exceptional customer service, timeless design, and making the design process enjoyable for every client.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who:
- Has formal education in Interior Design.
- Has previous interior design experience (preferred).
- Is passionate about helping clients create beautiful, functional homes.
- Is confident working independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
- Has strong communication and organizational skills.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- Retail experience
Bonus Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Visual merchandising
- Shopify
- Social media content creation and management
- Furniture, window coverings, wallpaper, or home décor sales
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with furniture and décor selections.
- Support our designers with projects from concept through installation.
- Merchandise our boutique and showroom to keep it inspiring and beautifully presented.
- Assist with Shopify and inventory management.
- Create and contribute to engaging social media content.
- Help deliver the exceptional client experience Interior Matters is known for.
