Convergint is currently recruiting for a bilingual (English/French Canadian) HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team supporting the Eastern Canada region. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of progressive HR experience and will provide day-to-day HR support to leaders and colleagues across multiple provinces, with a strong focus on Quebec and Ontario. This position is hands-on and operational, supporting employee relations, HR programs, compliance, onboarding, performance management processes, and HR projects while partnering closely with the HR Director and Centers of Excellence.
The successful candidate is highly organized, collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. They will also be responsible for coordinating HR initiatives, preparing executive-ready presentations and reports, tracking project milestones, and supporting the successful implementation of regional HR programs.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and colleagues on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.

Support employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace concerns, investigations, and documentation, escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, transfers, organizational changes, and other employee lifecycle activities.

Support performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and colleague development processes.

Assist with recruitment activities and partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs.

Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Inclusion & Diversity) to coordinate HR initiatives.

Maintain HR data accuracy within ADP & Workday and prepare routine HR reports and dashboards.

Coordinate regional HR projects and help drive project timelines, communications, and deliverables.

Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, briefing materials, and executive-ready reports for HR leadership.

Support employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and regional communication activities.

Ensure HR files, documentation, and processes comply with company standards and applicable legislation.
Compliance & Employment Legislation

Support compliance with Canadian federal and provincial employment legislation, with particular emphasis on Quebec and Ontario.

Maintain working knowledge of CNESST requirements, Quebec French language legislation, and employment standards across the region.

Support HR policy implementation and ensure consistent application of company practices.

Escalate complex legal or labour matters appropriately.
What You’ll Need

Fluent in both English and French Canadian (spoken and written) – required.

Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation, particularly Quebec and Ontario.

Knowledge of CNESST requirements and familiarity with CCQ-regulated environments is an asset.

Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create polished executive presentations.

Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Experience using Workday or a similar HRIS.

Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred

Experience in a matrixed or multi-location organization.

Experience coordinating HR initiatives or cross-functional projects.

Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Experience:

3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or similar role.

Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Experience supporting operations in Quebec and Ontario is strongly preferred.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

CHRP designation or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
