Title: Research Analyst
Salary: $76,530 - $95,662 - $105,229 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term until April 2028
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027. (Please confirm this role will be included in the move before posting – YES, it will be relocated to NV along with RKE and other teams. )
About the role
As Research Analyst, you will provide supports to the building of research capacity and collaborative partnerships with communities and research organizations. In this role, you will maintain and strengthen interdepartmental support and information sharing across the organization as well as with health system partners, as well as offer technical and functional support to grant funded research projects and ensure close communication and project coordination for research project teams. Will require occasional travel within BC.
About you
A Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Information Management/Sciences, Research Methods or Aboriginal/Indigenous Governance, plus 3-5 years of experience in research, analysis, grant writing and multi-jurisdictional partnerships or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; a master’s degree would be an asset.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience working with First Nations/Aboriginal people in health is an asset
- Knowledge of the OCAP® Principles, Indigenous research methods, and ethics

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
