Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Yard Maintenance Associate to join their team. As a Yard Maintenance Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the yard and materials management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, reliability, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Yard Maintenance
Location: Prescott, ON
Pay Range: $20.60
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Rework damaged or QA-held materials to ensure quality standards are met
- Clean and organize yard areas, including scrap wood, straps, plastic, and cardboard
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pipe storage yard environment
- Follow specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards diligently
- Handle materials safely and responsibly, supporting overall yard operations
What's Needed?
- Forklift experience is an asset, with the ability to operate equipment safely
- Safety certifications such as Fall Arrest or Chainsaw Training are advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented mindset, adaptable, and reliable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
