Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, take and serve orders accurately, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and food handling protocols. The Server/Bartender will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our customers through excellent service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including drinks and food options.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations throughout shifts.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
