Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential construction and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across various stages of home building.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all phases of new home construction (framing, finishing, site prep, etc.)
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Support carpenters, supervisors, and other trades as needed
- Follow construction plans and instructions
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform general labour tasks including lifting, digging, and cleanup
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in residential or new home construction required
- Ability to use basic construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license required
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper PPE use
