Food Truck Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced food truck manager to oversee daily operations of our food trucks. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing food preparation, supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of food truck operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving customers
- Manage team members, including interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising staff to ensure high performance
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck’s kitchen and service areas
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism during all shifts
- Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and special events
- Address customer concerns promptly to resolve issues effectively
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, preferably with food trucks or mobile eateries
- Supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in interviewing and training new staff members
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
