Job Duties
- Keeping work area clean & ensure safe work environment
- Good physical condition to work safely and perform job
- Good mental condition to work safely and perform job
- Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
- Assist in repairing, maintaining and installing industrial machinery and equipment
- Assist in repairing, maintaining and installing lifting devices
- Assist in repairing and maintaining stationary electric power generating and distribution equipment
- Assist in mechanical, electrical and body repairs, trucks, heavy equipment.
- Assist in repairing electrical, small engines or other similar equipment
- Perform other labouring and elemental tasks as required
- Be able to read electrical schematics
- Be able to diagnose electric problems on machinery, be able to repair electrical problems
- Washing machines
- Be able to ready hydraulic schematics
- Be able to diagnose & repair hydraulic problem
- Read all operators manuals of heavy equipment & understand operations & limitation of machines
- Assist with a fire suppression system
Own Tools/Equipment:
Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
