Part-Time Household Goods Packer

Pay: CA$19.00–CA$25.00 per hour
Optimal Packing is currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Part-Time Household Goods Packers. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in handling customers’ belongings with care, professionalism, and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely and securely pack household items for moving or storage
- Wrap fragile items using packing materials such as bubble wrap, packing paper, cartons, and tape
- Carefully pack kitchenware, glassware, electronics, décor, artwork, and personal belongings
- Label boxes accurately according to contents and destination rooms
- Maintain organized packing supplies and clean work areas
- Follow company packing procedures and safety guidelines
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Report damaged or missing items to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and move household items up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Good communication and time management skills
- Previous packing or moving experience is an asset but not required
- Minimum 6 months of related experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling
- Work performed at customer homes and various job sites
- Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and moving required
- Indoor and outdoor work environments
- Work week runs Monday through Saturday
