Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled FinTech Data Scientist to join our innovative team. Duties
- Develop and implement machine learning models using tools such as TensorFlow, R, Python, and SAS to analyze financial data and predict market trends.
- Design and optimize database architectures to efficiently store and retrieve large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Bash (Unix shell) for data processing and analysis at scale.
- Conduct data mining activities to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to analyze textual financial information for sentiment analysis or fraud detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into existing fintech platforms.
- Perform statistical analysis and develop predictive models to support risk management, customer segmentation, and product development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in analytics, AI, and fintech innovations to continuously improve analytical methodologies.
Experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Spark MLlib.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and experience working with SQL databases.
- Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and data mining techniques.
- Experience applying AI methods including natural language processing for financial applications.
- Background in analytics within the fintech or financial services industry is highly desirable.
