Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations. Based in Toronto, this role is vital for maintaining our commitment to quality and operational excellence.
Description
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee budgeting processes and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Monitor cash flow and optimize financial processes for efficiency.
- Lead efforts in continuous improvement of financial procedures within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting role within manufacturing or food processing industries.
- Experienced in account reconciliation and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting software including Sage.
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast- paced manufacturing environment and communicate across departments.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Experience:
- progressive accounting: 10 years (required)
- management: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
