Logan Drilling Group is seeking a motivated and reliable Class 1 or Class 3 Driver who is willing to work as part of a geotechnical and environmental drilling crew. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of work, likes being outdoors, and wants to be part of a team, working on exciting infrastructure, environmental, mining, and construction projects.
This position involves both driving and field support duties, including assisting drill crews with the mobilization, operation, of drilling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 or Class 3 vehicles safely and professionally
- Transport drilling equipment, support vehicles, and materials to project sites
- Assist drill crews with daily drilling operations
- Load and unload equipment and supplies
- Support drillers with rod handling, tooling, sampling, and site setup
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and organization
- Complete required safety and field documentation
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Travel to project sites throughout Atlantic Canada as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License
- Clean driver's abstract
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling drilling equipment
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
- Previous construction, drilling, heavy equipment, or labour experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work away from home when required
