Job Description
We are hiring to join our team and have a long-term full-time position available as our Repair, Custom and Inventory Coordinator. We work Tuesday through Saturday with some extended hours during the Christmas Season. We are looking for a detail-oriented and focused individual with excellent customer service. The main objective of this position is to coordinate our repair system, custom jewellery and inventory data entry between each department to maintain a smooth customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Jewellery and Watch Job Intakes for Repairs, Custom and Watches – includes descriptions, photos, identifying which tasks or repairs are needed, and inform customers of our procedures, policies and timelines
- Repair cleaning and pricing with Goldsmith using a microscope to identify work needed followed by data entry into our tracking program.
- Quoting customers on work needed and following all steps to each process from start to finish.
- Weekly tracking reports to ensure timelines are met.
- Quality Control of completed jobs, including all information is recorded accurately.
- Quality Control on new jewellery items.
- Data Entry for inventory through our Point of Sale program.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using our Point of Sale and inventory system, including receiving payments for goods, issue receipts and advise customers of store policies for purchases.
- Learning technical jewellery knowledge to understand differences in quality in jewellery and gemstones.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store.
- Follow the dress code set out by the company (Business Casual)
Requirements
- Typing and computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook, and operating Point of Sale and inventory system.
- Clear printing in handwriting so tasks and notes on job bags are easily read.
- Good eyesight and attention to detail. We work using magnification.
- Self Organized. Work in a clean and organized manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Honest and trustworthy
- Provide a criminal record check if necessary
- Available to work in a full-time position Tuesday through Saturday
