Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, proficiency with POS systems, and a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring timely service
- Serve food and drinks in a professional and courteous manner
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, including bar and dining spaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as needed
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any special requests or concerns
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles, willing to train
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations
