Wind Cries Mary is looking for a talented and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our kitchen. What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and execute menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Work confidently with a variety of professional kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Maintain your station with exceptional organization, cleanliness, and product management.
- Complete daily prep and ensure your station is ready for service.
- Assist with seafood preparation, including oyster shucking, and other daily kitchen tasks.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean kitchen and completing end-of-night closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow cooks to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to continually improve your skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and remain active throughout your shift.
- FoodSafe certification is considered an asset.
Schedule Requirements
This is a full-time position. Wind Cries Mary is a busy dinner restaurant, and successful applicants must be available to work evenings and remain on shift until approximately 1:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as required.
