Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various civil tasks and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to follow instructions and work collarbroatively with team members on various projects.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Support tradespeople by holding materials, mixing substances, or operating basic tools under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as site cleanup, waste disposal, and minor repairs
- Carry out other manual tasks as directed by supervisors to keep the project progressing efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction or manual labor environments
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license to get to and from different sites
