Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Write detailed service orders by accurately recording customer descriptions, vehicle issues, and requested repairs
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and clarify repair requirements
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to maximize dealership revenue
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling records
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair estimates, timelines, and recommended services clearly and professionally
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
Skills
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred for a seamless transition into our fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Proven ability in sales, including upselling services to enhance customer value and dealership profitability
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts to accurately document services and recommend solutions
- Cash handling experience to manage transactions confidently and accurately
- Effective communication skills for liaising between customers, technicians, and management
