Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to operate mixer trucks in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering concrete to construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and excellent driving skills to support our ongoing projects in the area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to deliver concrete to various construction sites in.
- Ensure proper loading, mixing, and discharge of concrete according to project specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks before and after shifts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies related to safety, vehicle operation, and environmental standards.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment and truck maintenance.
- Proven experience with commercial driving, especially operating mixer trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Construction experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with paving, concrete forming, or related activities.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or other construction machinery is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures in construction and transportation environments.
- Excellent driving record with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction setting.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel.
