Unit Summary:
THP is a Regional Cardiac Program providing services and care in collaboration with our Regional Partners. 2C Cardiology is a 50-bed inpatient, acute care unit. We support a wide variety of complex cardiology patients while working closely with Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Short Stay and Coronary Care Unit. We primarily focus on medical management and minimally invasive procedures to care for our patients in their unique care needs. We are also the primary home for
post surgical
care for THPs Vascular Surgery population. We have a broad team of skilled, interdisciplinary professionals to support our patients, and ensure they receive the best care possible while in our care.

Demonstrates knowledge, experience and the ability to care for patients with the following: initiation and maintenance of IV therapy, administration of medication above the drip chamber, blood and blood product administration, blood glucose monitoring, nasogastric tubes, wound management skills, routine and additional infection control precautions, normal and abnormal lab values
