Culture Expectations
· You are expected to act within our values in the way you do your job and communicate. We are working in partnership with our tenants, customers, contractors and community – be respectful, be kind, be honest. Your attitude and the way in which you do your work is as important as the work itself.
· We use deadlines and powerful responses to maximize our efficiency and effectiveness. That means there will always be a timeframe around work. Once something is on your plate, it is your responsibility to deliver, without reminders or checking in. If you can’t deliver within the expected timeline, it is up to you to renegotiate that timeline with the appropriate team member. To make this work we use powerful responses (promises, yes, no, counteroffer, commit to commit).
· We will provide the necessary tools, resources, coaching, support, clarification and information required to be successful in your job. You are responsible to ask for what you need.
· Radical candor is honesty with kindness. This is the baseline for our behavior and interactions with our team, and others. If something bothers you, address it directly with the other person involved – work it out. Drama and gossip are toxins that are not welcome in our workplace.
· We are a small team performing a diverse and large scope of work. You will be asked for help by team members for things that are not in your job description. ‘Yes, how can I help?’ Is the right answer - use powerful responses.
· Take initiative – jump in – engage - live outside the box – find creative solutions.
· We value your ideas, input and feedback; please share them in a respectful, specific and well- thought-out manner.
