About Twentyseven
Twentyseven is a fast-growing lifestyle brand built by Olivia Colacci, with locations in Toronto, Bloomfield, and Consecon, spanning retail, hair studios, and a growing online store.
We're hiring our first dedicated Ecommerce Coordinator to support the Shopify store day to day — the product catalog, on-site experience, creative updates, and the path to purchase — while also being the front line for customer service, making sure every online shopper gets the same warmth and care they'd get walking into one of our stores. You'll take direction from Olivia day to day, and work closely with our Senior Ecommerce Consultant on larger initiatives and strategic projects.
What You’ll Do
You'll be the day-to-day hands-on-keyboard for the site — the person who knows it best and keeps it running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the full product catalog in Shopify: uploads, writing and maintaining product descriptions, variants, pricing, tagging, and collections, kept clean and accurate as inventory changes, and optimized for discoverability on agentic and AI shopping platforms
- Maintaining on-site SEO fundamentals: product titles, descriptions, meta tags, alt text, and URL/collection structure optimized for search visibility
- Supporting ongoing site optimization: navigation, search and filtering, product page layout, merchandising, and mobile experience
- Maintaining the path to purchase, flagging friction points and implementing fixes as directed
- Managing the Shopify theme: maintaining and updating templates, sections, and page layouts, and executing on-site content updates (homepage, collection pages, banners, seasonal campaigns)
- Owning customer service for the online store: responding to inquiries, resolving order issues, and handling returns/exchanges with warmth and professionalism
- Managing our subscription program: setup, billing logic, and customer experience
- Managing bundles and kits: building, pricing, and maintaining them as assortment changes
- Managing the broader Shopify app stack and vendor relationships (loyalty, reviews, and other tools supporting the shopping experience)
- Partnering with the Marketing Assistant on product features and promotions, keeping email flows aligned with current inventory, assortment, and business priorities
- Implementing website and marketing copy, taking direction from the Marketing Assistant during onboarding and growing into more independent ownership over time
- Setting up and QA-ing promotions, discount codes, and sales mechanics
- Monitoring site performance and conversion data, and flagging trends or issues to Olivia and the Senior Ecommerce Consultant
- Troubleshooting first, escalating second — solving what you can before looping in Olivia or the Senior Ecommerce Consultant
Performance Expectations
Success in this role means:
- The product catalog is accurate, complete, discoverable, and easy to browse, with no stale, mislabeled, or broken listings
- The theme, templates, and on-site experience are consistently on-brand, well-maintained, and updated on schedule
- Customer inquiries are answered promptly and resolved with care, protecting the brand's reputation online
- Subscriptions, bundles, and app/vendor tools run smoothly with minimal customer-facing issues
- Promotions and launches run smoothly with no last-minute scrambles
- You're spotting friction points in the shopping experience before they're pointed out to you
- Direction from Olivia and the Senior Ecommerce Consultant is executed reliably, with initiatives moving forward without needing to be chased
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on Shopify experience — comfortable in the backend, not just the storefront (theme customization, template building, apps, metafields, collections logic)
- Hands-on experience managing subscriptions, bundles, and third-party apps (loyalty, reviews, and similar tools)
- A good eye for on-site merchandising and conversion optimization
- Understanding of the ecommerce funnel and what moves people from browsing to buying
- Strong customer service instincts — patient, warm, and solutions-oriented, even with a frustrated customer
- Sharp attention to detail; nothing ships with a typo, broken link, or pricing error
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own priorities day to day
- Collaborative working style — you'll take direction from Olivia and our Senior Ecommerce Consultant, and partner closely with the Marketing Assistant and Operations Assistant
- Working knowledge of on-site SEO best practices (product data, metadata, site structure)
- Available and responsive during EST business hours
- Bonus: basic Klaviyo familiarity (light involvement, mostly in support of the Marketing Assistant)
- Bonus: familiarity with CRO principles, UTM tracking, or Meta/Google ad platforms
- Bonus: based in Toronto or Prince Edward County, with flexibility for occasional in-person time
Compensation & Perks
- Full-time, fully remote
- Compensation: $52,000-$60,000
- 30% staff discount across Twentyseven retail
- An opportunity to grow alongside a creative, expanding brand
