Traditional Learning Academy is a Catholic school located in Coquitlam, founded by the Traditional Learning Society of BC in 1991. The school provides a structured program of studies in the Catholic tradition for students in kindergarten through grade twelve. TLA encourages the pursuit of academic excellence, promotes the fine and performing arts, fosters sound character development, and has a setting in which all students may grow in wisdom and knowledge, while deepening their love of God and neighbour.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Subjects: Language Arts, Math, Computer Skills, Social Studies, Science, & PE
Traditional Learning Academy, Coquitlam, is accepting applications for a part-time (0.4 FTE Monday/Tuesday/Friday) Primary Generalist Teacher (A variety of subjects in grades, K - 7) commencing September 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering the established program of studies to students according to the BC Curriculum, carrying out unit and course planning, upholding the standards & guidelines established by the school, participating in, and/or supporting the extra-curricular activities of the school, and supervising students during non-classroom time. He or she must be capable of teaching the Catholic religion, language arts, mathematics, science, physical and health education, computer literacy, social studies, and be in possession of, or qualified to receive valid BC Teaching certification.
