Your Opportunity
In this role, you'll work on a variety of small to medium-sized projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. You'll take part in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products, verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of small to medium-sized projects across different materials and building types
- Liaise with a wide range of clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Apply structural design software such as STAAD and/or SAP2000, TEDDS, Mathcad, and Excel
- Investigate construction-related issues for new and existing structures
- Prepare and review technical reports
- Prepare design calculations and engineering drawings
Qualifications
Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience applying the National Building Code and Ontario Building Code
- Working knowledge of CSA A23.3 (Design of Concrete Structures) and CSA S16 (Design of Steel Structures); experience with CSA O86 (Engineering Design in Wood) and CSA S304 (Design of Masonry Structures) is an asset
- Interest in working on industrial and warehouse facility projects
- A self-starter who is innovative and thrives in a team environment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT), in good standing with PEO
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
