Payroll Officer
Position Summary:
The Payroll officer is responsible for managing and processing payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and provinces. The Payroll officer collaborates with department leaders to ensure all time entries are verified and approved.
KEY Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing, Collecting and verifying employee work hours and approving time entries in ADP.
- Collaboration with the billing department and ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and compliance with company policies.
- Review and verifying records to ensure accuracy.
- Managing deductions and overtime.
- Handling employee queries in regards to pay, advances, T4's and information changes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in Payroll with ADP program specifically.
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with multiple departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
- Knowledge of both British Columbia and Alberta Payroll legislation.
- Strong attention to details and accuracy.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
