HNG Accounting Group Inc. is a small family run business in Saskatoon providing professional accounting services for personal tax, corporate tax, and bookkeeping.
We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our office as receptionist.
The receptionist will be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day office while providing support to other employees. The successful candidate will be a great communicator and able to prioritize client satisfaction.
The receptionist is a vital position in our office. The right candidate will be comfortable on the telephone and dealing with clients in person. Previous office experience is a must.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls and transferring to staff if needed
- Greeting clients with a personable manner
- Composing and answering emails
- Accepting payments in person and over the phone
- Printing, scanning, photocopying, and filing
- Maintaining organized reports of accounts receivable, client documents, and files in storage
- Assisting clients and other staff members with questions or inquiries
- Handling mail and scheduling couriers
- Sorting incoming paperwork to prepare reports
- Keeping your space and the general office areas clean and organized
- Completing a variety of data entry using Excel and Sage accounting software
Requirements for this position:
- High school diploma, or general education diploma
- Some post secondary would be an asset
- Previous office/administrative experience
- Proficient in word processing software
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Proficient in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a small team
Other skills and knowledge that are an asset for this position:
- Basic knowledge of services provided by the Canada Revenue Agency
- Basic knowledge of personal and corporate income tax returns, financial statements
- Entry level knowledge and experience with Sage and/or Quickbooks software
After a three month probationary period, you may become eligible to join our health/dental plan.
