Job Overview
ROC CORP, is looking for a skilled,and dedicated 310T Apprentice to join our Mechanics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Inhouse Mechanic in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of cranes and heavy vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team and the ability to learn-on-the job . The Apprentice will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations under the leadership of the Mechanic.
Responsibilities
- Learn to perform routine maintenance on cranes, vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Learn to repair or replace faulty parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to crane mechanics.
Experience
- Proven experience as a 310T Apprentice or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair tools is essential.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Willingness to complete the 310T certification.
