Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Processing Associate to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food industry environment. This role involves working in a clean and safe facility to ensure high-quality food products are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and mechanical understanding, contributing to the production of safe and delicious food items. Duties
- Operate packaging equipment to prepare products for distribution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with the operation of moving raw materials and finished goods safely within the facility
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of processing
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment to meet health regulations
- Conduct basic mechanical tasks such as troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing simple maintenance
- Follow detailed instructions for food processing procedures, including portioning, labeling, and quality checks
- Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory tracking
- Support the implementation of manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and product quality
- Make records or Logs of batches of products.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Food Handlers Certificate is necessary to work. Can be obtained after hiring right Candidate.
- Knowledge of packaging processes is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good Personal Hygiene is Imperative.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting while adhering to safety guidelines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
