Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes within a manufacturing environment. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles to support operational and strategic financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle accounting activities related to manufacturing operations using QuickBooks
- Accounts Payable/ Receivable, Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting, GST, PST, Payroll Source Deductions, WCB Remittances, payroll and employee benefit onboarding.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory, and cost trends along with sourcing new materials
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support informed decision-making
- Assist with inventory accounting, costing, and operational financial analysis, Updating assemblies and maintaining updated price lists to the team.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing industry and QuickBooks experience is required
- Solid understanding of inventory, costing, and manufacturing accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with data sets
- Experience with financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and partner effectively with both Finance and Operations teams
- Comfortable working in a team environment; proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

- 3+ years of professional accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
