Overview
We are seeking a skilled Epoxy Floor Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing durable epoxy flooring in commercial and residential settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with flooring installation, carpentry, and related construction skills, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and leveling to ensure proper epoxy adhesion
- Mix and apply epoxy coatings according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools such as trowels, rollers, brushes, and grinders to complete installations
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute flooring layouts
- Perform tile laying, caulking, and other finishing tasks to achieve a seamless appearance
- Assist with surface preparation including sanding, patching, and sealing as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools used in flooring installation and carpentry
- Construction experience, particularly in flooring or tile installation
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of flooring materials including epoxy resins and related products
- Strong carpentry skills including framing, caulking, and surface preparation
- Handyman experience is a plus for troubleshooting and minor repairs on-site
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance
Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
