Protrans Personnel Services is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate for a permanent full-time opportunity with one of our established clients in Mississauga, ON.
This is a great long-term opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and warehouse organization experience. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and looking to grow with a stable company.
- Job Title: Warehouse Associate
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Location: Mississauga, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Salary: $45,000 to $52,000 per year
- Industry: Warehouse, Distribution, Shipping & Receiving
- Pick, check, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Receive, sort, and organize warehouse inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records using basic computer systems
- Prepare customer returns and outgoing shipments
- Inspect products and report any damaged or incorrect inventory
- Organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse
- Operate forklift or warehouse equipment when required
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
These responsibilities are based on the client’s role requirements, including shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory organization, basic computer use, and maintaining warehouse accuracy and safety.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, order picking, packing, or distribution
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavier items with assistance or equipment
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required
- Reliable, punctual, and looking for a long-term permanent role
