Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropodist/Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, utilizing their expertise in diagnosing and treating various podiatric conditions. We have available a large treatment room with adjacent office. The health centre includes a kitchenette, laundry facilities, two bathrooms, and large reception area and waiting room. The successful applicant will have a strong background in patient-centered treatment, pain management, and medical procedures related to foot health. You would be treated as an independant practitioner, and only pay a flat monthly rent. It is up to you, as the practitioner, to bill, collect, and book your clientele. The clientele in this area is from diverse ethnic and socio-economic groups.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ foot and ankle conditions using medical terminology and diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on pain management, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
- Perform medical procedures such as medication administration, wound care, and minor surgical interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and post-treatment care strategies.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Chiropodist or Podiatrist with appropriate licensing.
- Proven experience in patient care with a focus on pediatrics, home care, or medical office environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skills in data collection, medication administration, and wound management are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $24.43-$133.09 per hour
