Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all items are ready for use during food service
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels, and cleaning materials as required
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary
- Basic understanding of food handling safety practices is advantageous
