Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The Houseperson will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced setting. Prior hotel or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with the replenishment of supplies such as linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms and public spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel corridors, stairwells, and service areas
- Support housekeeping staff with heavy lifting or moving supplies as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus, especially in hotel or industrial cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
