Server / Bartender
Location: Brown’s Bay Resort – Campbell River, BC
Job Type: Seasonal / Full-Time (Part-Time available)
Position Summary
Brown’s Bay Resort is looking for a skilled and personable Server/Bartender to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a fast-paced, oceanfront restaurant setting. This role combines table service with bar service, requiring strong multitasking skills and a commitment to guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-service dining, including taking orders, serving food, and processing payments
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, daily features, and drink offerings
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining and bar area
- Deliver friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service
- Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
- Follow all health, safety, and liquor regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable multitasking and working both independently and as part of a team
- Valid Serving It Right certification (required in BC)
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Cocktail and wine knowledge
- Experience in high-volume or resort environments
- First Aid certification
