We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics on a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repair or installation.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the repair process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- A current Journeyman Appliance Technician ticket (Preffered)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of Appliance Repair and electrical components.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
