Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and private home care. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. Experience in senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision or as trained
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional health
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure client safety at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward clients of all ages
- Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between care sites or client homes
