Prime Auto Collision is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy auto body and car repair shop. We need someone who knows the ins and outs of running a shop, understands repairs and maintenance, and can deliver great customer service while keeping the team organized and productive.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day shop operations
- Schedule repair jobs and assign work to technicians
- Communicate with customers, provide updates, and handle concerns
- Order parts and manage inventory
- Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Oversee quality control on repairs
- Support estimating, invoicing, and insurance coordination
- Lead and motivate staff; help create a positive work environment
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in an auto body, mechanical, or dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive repairs and parts
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with estimating software is an asset
