We, at Leggett & Platt Incorporated, are searching for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk within our Operations team to help support our Automotive business. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Motors, Actuators and Massage Systems. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will have the opportunity to support Customer Service achieve operational excellence. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by assisting in various operational duties.
As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will:

Schedule shipments by phone, email, or internet.

Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices.

Create master labels and ship-to labels for each outgoing pallet.

Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing labels of goods against the packing slip; report any discrepancies.

Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.

Direct the driver to sign the shipping documents; retain the signed documents as proof of shipment.

Send Advanced Shipment Notices (ASNs) to customers.

Update and maintain daily incoming and outgoing documents.

Maintain inventory accuracy; perform physical inventory counts on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Other tasks assigned by direct manager.
To Be Successful you will need:
-
High School Degree required, college diploma preferred.

2-3 years of experience in a similar office role in Supply Chain Management/Logistics is a plus

Internal training on processes and procedures
-
Very good command in MS Office and ERP systems usage

Knowledge of customs requirements
-
Ability to work in teams
-
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English

Mandarin skills preferred

Accurate working style
Compensaition:
Salary ranges from $40,000 to $41,891 based on experience.
