Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic CDA II (Certified Dental Assistant II) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental practitioners with clinical procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations within the practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including pediatrics, and general dentistry, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for precise diagnostics
- Manage patient records accurately including charting and treatment documentation
- Educate patients on , post-treatment care, and upcoming procedures to promote oral health awareness
- Maintain office equipment and keep records
- Responsible for ordering supplies
- Must be IPAC certified
- Handle medical terminology accurately when documenting patient histories and treatment plans
Requirements
- Valid CDA certification with current licensure in good standing
- Experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills and infection control required
- Able to work as a TEAM
