Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Truck Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumping equipment efficiently and safely on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and safety protocols. The Concrete Pump Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and precise placement of concrete, contributing to the successful completion of projects ranging from commercial buildings to paving and foundation work.
Responsibilities
- Operate (brand new) concrete pumping machinery with precision, adhering to safety standards and project specifications
- Set up and inspect equipment prior to use, ensuring all safety devices are functional
- Coordinate with construction crews to determine the best placement of concrete for each project
- Maintain communication with site supervisors regarding progress and any equipment issues
- Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on pumps and related equipment
- Assist with other heavy equipment operation tasks such as aggregate hauling and equipment operating
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with concrete pumps or similar machinery
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Background in construction, paving, concrete forming, or related fields is highly desirable
- Minimum 3A drivers license
- Ability to operate loaders, excavators, and perform concrete finishing tasks is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with OSHA standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $34.67-$46.16 per hour
