Webb's Machinery is a six store New Holland dealership with locations in Vermilion, Vegreville, Lamont, Wainwright, St. Paul and Consort, AB. We specialize in agricultural equipment sales and service, and we are currently looking for a YARD WORKER / DELIVERY DRIVER to join our team at our VERMILION location. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Yard Worker / Delivery Driver will serve split duty in two roles. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of the dealership yard, equipment inventory and facilities as well as haul /transport equipment to and from other locations and to customers. Job Description:
- Receives and unloads incoming equipment, and supplies against packing slips; assigns equipment to the proper yard location.
- Prepares and loads equipment for delivery.
- Maintains yard and premises in a neat and orderly manner.
- Assists in the maintenance of Dealership equipment.
- Assists technicians as required.
- Haul or transport equipment as required, following required safety procedures and highway regulations.
Perform basic equipment assembly as required.
Specific Skills:
- Pulling, packing, loading and towing of equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Can lift in excess of 50 lbs, repeatedly throughout a shift
- Knowledge of the care and safe operation of assigned loading equipment.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma.
- Class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
