As Night Operations Manager, you'll lead the overnight crew, coordinate nightly operations, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Alpine's standards.
Working closely with the Snowmaking/Grooming Manager, you'll execute nightly operational plans, respond to changing weather and mountain conditions, and provide leadership and direction to the overnight team throughout each shift.
What You'll Do
As Night Operations Manager, you'll:
- Lead and support the overnight snowmaking and grooming crews.
- Coordinate nightly work assignments and operational priorities.
- Execute overnight operational plans developed with the Snowmaking/Grooming Manager.
- Monitor weather, snow conditions, and equipment performance throughout the shift.
- Make operational adjustments as conditions change.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Coordinate with Lift Operations, Vehicle Maintenance, and other departments.
- Complete shift reports and communicate priorities to the day team.
Outside of the winter season, you'll support Mountain Operations with infrastructure improvements, equipment maintenance, capital projects, trail development, property maintenance, and general operations as part of the broader Operations team.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience leading or supervising crews in an operational environment.
- Enjoys working outdoors and being part of a hands-on team.
- Can confidently organize work, solve problems, and keep projects moving overnight.
- Communicates well and supports a positive team culture.
- Has experience with snowmaking, grooming, heavy equipment, construction, municipal operations, landscaping, or similar industries.
- Is comfortable working night shifts throughout the winter season.

More Than a Winter Role
This is a year-round position within Mountain Operations. While your primary focus during the winter season is leading overnight snowmaking and grooming operations, you'll also contribute to summer maintenance, capital projects, construction, infrastructure improvements, and other operational initiatives alongside the rest of the Mountain Operations team.
