AZ Driver – Shunt Truck Operator (Temporary)

E.G. Gray Transportation Ltd. is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused AZ Driver for a temporary shunting position at our Peterborough location. This role is ideal for a retired driver looking to stay active and work consistent weekday hours.
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday
- Night Shift: Monday to Friday
(One position available on each shift.)
- Move trailers safely within the yard and between designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and yard personnel.
- Valid AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous shunting/yard experience is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Consistent Monday to Friday schedule.
- Local work – home every day.
