Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
- Handle cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and sales
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure product displays are organized and appealing
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist customers with product selection, offering technical sales support when needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts as required
- Uphold organizational policies to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail merchandising standards
- Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
