Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food products following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Perform butchery tasks including meat cutting and trimming with precision and care
- Handle food items safely, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards
- Package finished products efficiently for distribution or sale
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality
- Support team members in food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during product pickups
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the food industry, especially in food preparation or kitchen operations, is preferred
- Knowledge of butchery, meat cutting, and food handling techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with packaging food products efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is a plus
