Arrowhead Industries Ltd. delivers top-notch excavation, railway, and road maintenance services across Western Canada. We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to keep our fleet running smoothly for a variety of projects. This is full-time work with travel across the BC & AB based out of Revelstoke.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, and high-rail machinery.
- Inspect equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Maintain service records and complete routine preventative maintenance.
- Travel to project sites as required (mobile work).
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to address mechanical issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Red Seal or related certification is a plus, but experience counts!
- Strong mechanical skills with heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to various job sites.
- Valid BC driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive wages: $37–$50 per hour (base rate). Overtime paid in accordance with BC Employment Standards.
- Estimated annual earnings may exceed $90,000–$110,000 depending on overtime worked.
