Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Maintain and update the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manual to reflect regulatory changes, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage third-party compliance platforms (Avetta, ISN, ComplyWorks, Alcumus, Ariba, Bonfire, Capreit, Contractor Compliance, etc.).
- Track and report safety statistics quarterly (e.g., TRIF).
- Coordinate and schedule third-party inspections (e.g., cranes, equipment).
- Arrange HSE training with external providers and track completion.
- Perform and document in-house calibration of gas monitors and related equipment.
- Coordinate company safety programs (e.g., audiometric testing, safety glasses program).
- Maintain confined space equipment, including inspections, repairs, and servicing.
- Manage Emergency Response Plans (ERP), including drills, reporting, and site-specific updates.
- Track and follow up on action items from inspections, audits, and incidents to completion.
- Develop, update, and review Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Safe Job Procedures (SJPs) with appropriate personnel.
- Manage annual Certificates of Insurance (COI), including renewals and distribution to customers.
- Provide WCB clearance letters to customers as required.
- Ensure compliance records, documentation, and registers are accurate and up to date.
- Review formal hazard assessments and ensure proper implementation.
- Develop and implement in house safety training programs.
- Participate in workplace inspections.
- Co-chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
COR Program
- Certified COR Auditor (ASCA) – REQUIRED.
- Lead COR audit preparation, execution, and action planning.
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings to completion.
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct corrective and preventative action (CAPA) investigations.
- Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics and statistical data.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain calibration records and documentation for required equipment.
- Ensure document control and version compliance across all forms and registers.
Fleet & Equipment Coordination
- Coordinate fleet vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
- Track maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of required service.
- Manage documentation related to vehicle inspections, registrations, and compliance.
- Act as point of contact for vehicle-related issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors or internal teams.
Administrative Support
- Provide backup support for incoming calls as needed.
- Coordinate reception lunch coverage on a rotating basis.
- Purchase and manage miscellaneous safety supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
