Quadra Capital is a boutique private equity firm with ownership across essential service industries. Through one of our portfolio company in Vancouver, we provide professional business-to-business services to clients in hospitality, events, wellness, short-term rentals, food and beverage, and other service-based industries.
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base, build relationships, and bring in new business from commercial customers.
This is a practical, relationship-driven sales role. We are not looking for someone who only wants to sit behind a desk. We are looking for someone who is comfortable reaching out to prospects, booking meetings, attending in-person sales calls, following up professionally, and building long-term client relationships.
The Role
As our Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with companies such as hotels, event companies, spas, Airbnb and short-term rental operators, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, and other commercial clients.
You will work directly with the directors and provide weekly updates on prospects, meetings, follow-ups, and new opportunities.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys meeting people, can communicate clearly, and wants a long-term role with room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential business clients in target industries
- Book and attend sales meetings with prospective customers
- Build relationships with hotels, event companies, spas, short-term rental operators, food and beverage businesses, and related commercial clients
- Present our services clearly and professionally
- Follow up with prospects and maintain an organized pipeline
- Work with management to understand client needs and prepare appropriate service proposals
- Report weekly to the directors on sales activity, pipeline progress, and opportunities
- Represent the company in a professional and trustworthy manner
- Help develop practical strategies to grow the company’s client base
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, client relations, or a related role
- Comfortable making calls, sending emails, booking meetings, and meeting clients in person
- Strong spoken and written English
- Professional, reliable, and motivated
- Able to work independently without needing to be micromanaged
- Good follow-up habits and basic organizational skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers, and decision-makers
- Looking for a stable, long-term position
- Must have a vehicle or reliable access to one for client meetings
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to hotels, restaurants, event companies, spas, property managers, or other service-based businesses
- Experience in business-to-business sales
- Existing relationships in hospitality, events, real estate, food and beverage, or wellness industries
- Familiarity with CRM systems or basic sales pipeline tracking
