Role Description: Oil and Gas Chemical Account Representative

The Oil & Gas Chemical Account Representative will manage day-to-day customer accounts in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on increasing site performance with our chemical products and services.
Key tasks include:
- build and maintain client relationships.
- respond to customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution of service or product issues.
- support sales activities by identifying customer needs, presenting chemical solutions, preparing basic quotes, and assisting with order follow-up.
- seek and identify new growth opportunities.
Daily responsibilities also include:
- Coordination of tasks and activities with operations and technical teams
- Monitor on-site product usage.
- Maintaining accurate records
- Visiting customer sites as required.
- Daily customer service reports
- Month end customer reports
- Delivery of chemical to customer locations as required
- Daily (PJHA) Pre Job Hazard Assessments
Qualifications
· Strong account management skills:
This includes maintaining client relationships, managing multiple accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proven customer service abilities with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving and professional client interaction and above all a Positive Attitude.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences is essential.
- Sales aptitude, including proposal support and revenue growth contribution.
· Minimum 5 years oil and gas operations experience. A good understanding of oil and gas production chemicals is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities in a field-based environment.
- Comfort working on-site at field locations.
- Compliance with all Company and client safety requirements.
- Proficiency with basic office and reporting tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, exel or similar systems).
- Clean Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Southern Alberta area as needed.
- Candidate must be willing to work weekends when required to provide client support and service.
Compensation: Performance 2020 Inc. offers competitive wages and compensation based on the above-mentioned qualifications with an emphasis on experience and knowledge of the production chemical industry.
